Our Unique Mission

We believe that God knows us, loves us and has called us together to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Be strong and courageous

Purpose

We exist to be a community of love, hope and joy for God’s glory.

Values

The values and behaviours we aspire to:

God-led
Uphold the Bible as our highest authority. Be guided by the Holy Spirit.

People Matter
Welcome and accept every person. Be kind and love generously.

Being Real
Be open and honest. Be sincere and humble.

Living Responsibly
Care for ourselves, others and God’s creation. Be responsible stewards of resources.

As we won’t always get it right, with compassion, grace and forgiveness we will learn and grow together.

Pathway

We will grow as disciples of Jesus as we:

Connect
Support and care for each other; study, pray and worship God together.

Learn
Seek God every day to know Him better and be transformed.

Serve
Identify our unique talents and live to serve others.

Share
Tell others about the Good News of Jesus and what He has done for us.

Picture of the Future

We want to be an excited and committed community where people want to belong.  Everyone is welcome and our numbers will increase as we “be the hands and feet of Jesus”, and make new followers.

We want to be available and accessible with a building and resources that don’t hinder our ability to do God’s work. Additionally, have ministries that promote a holistic approach to wellness, focusing on mental health and loneliness.

Fulfilling Our Mission

In our church family, we don’t want anyone to be left behind or forgotten. We want to love, support and strengthen a diversity of families.

Our Pastor

Kevin grew up in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. On leaving school he became a plumber. He also worked as a Health Inspector for the Queensland Government and as a volunteer plumber at Fulton College Fiji.

In 1989 after God’s promptings, he applied to study at Avondale College.  After completing a BA in Theology Kevin went on to serve in both Ministry and Chaplaincy positions in North New Zealand Conference, Northern Australian Conference and Greater Sydney Conference. During his time in Sydney, he completed a Master of Ministry (Family) at Avondale College.

Kevin spent the last 8 years retired, travelling the world extensively and serving at times as a volunteer in Uganda, Africa. At the beginning of 2022, he was been asked to become the pastor of Central Coast Community Church at Wyong. Kevin is married to Theresa, who ably assists him in ministry.
