Garden of Eating

Garden of Eating has been temporarily suspended due to COVID, but will be back as soon as possible! Garden of Eating is a ministry that provides a free vegetarian meal after our program each week. It is staffed by 25+ volunteers. Everyone is welcome and invited to stay!

At Central Coast Community Church we love having lunch together. It provides a chance to catch-up and also get to know each other better. Sharing a meal and conversation gives us the opportunity to support and encourage each other more.

Our Garden of Eating menu includes a variety of options. One week there will be soups with bread rolls; another rice or pasta with sauce; another salad rolls; haystacks; hot dogs with salad and patties; and a community BBQ on the first Saturday of the month. Dairy and gluten free options are usually available.

If you are planning to visit our church, plan to stay and join us for lunch! Some of our Small Groups also have meals together before their meetings.

Our Garden of Eating ministry takes a break after Christmas and during January.

Small Groups

Small Groups

Small Groups at Central Coast Community Church support and nurture people as they grow their relationship with Jesus. We believe that people are designed to connect and interact with others for their general well-being. Joining a Small Group from C4 is a safe, non-threatening way to meet people and learn more about Jesus. Discover with others, what he did for us.

Meetings are not formal. There is sharing, Bible study, and discussion time. Each member is encouraged to participate in their own way, while non-judgementally supporting every other member of the group. Groups currently run on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, both in person and online via zoom. If you have questions or would like more information about joining a Small Group, please contact John Sanburg.

New Hely St Group

At the recent vision casting session, members asked for more opportunities to connect with each other. In response to this request, our new building in Hely Street will be open each Wednesday from 8am to 1pm.

There are no organized groups so far, however, there are people interested in getting together for the purpose of praying; book club; cleaning; weeding; glass cleaning; sorting; walking, and jigsaw puzzles. Morning Tea will be provided between 10 – 10.30 am. If you want to connect, come on a Wednesday anytime between 8am – 1pm. For more information contact Toni.

Interactive

Interactive is a program designed to offer all adults an opportunity to study the Bible and share in small groups. It runs between the main worship service and lunch every week and coincides with C4 Kids so that parents and adults have the chance to study the Bible uninterrupted.

There are several different Interactive classes to cater for everyone. Classes include:

  • A group that focuses on exploring deeper the sermon of the day, with the speaker of the day.
  • The Sabbath School lesson, which all Seventh-Day Adventists study from all over the world every week.
  • A class for 30+ adults that look at different topics relevant to Christian life.
  • Discovery class, which focuses on one book of the Bible at a time.
  • Young Adults, a for those aged between 19–29. They enjoy discussing the Bible and life in general.

Young Adults

Our Young Adults at C4 have a class called 1929. It is an Interactive Bible Study group for those roughly aged between 19 and 29. In their group they discuss the Bible as well as life in general.

As a group they arrange social activities. This is a great chance to get together outside of Church and enjoy food, fun and friendship.

Young adults small group is an opportunity to build relationships and go deeper with God.

C4 Tweens and Teens

Tweens and Teens are separated into their respective age groups. Tweens is a program designed for kids in grades 5 and 6 at school, who are too old for C4 kids but not yet in their teen years. They do age-appropriate activities, learning about the Bible and how to get on well with each other.
TWEENS LEADER: Kelly

Teens is a ministry that gives our High School aged youth a place to build relationships and know God. This takes place in three key areas.

AMPLIFY
Our teen event Amplify meets on the first Friday evening of every month. Teens gather for live music, games, a guest speaker, and heaps of food.

INTERACTIVE
During our Saturday morning Interactive time the teens study relevant Bible topics, discuss teen culture and enjoy games that bring connection and conversation.

SOCIAL EVENTS
Once a month the teens get together for a fun evening activity. This gives them the opportunity to build important peer friendships and to bring their friends.

C4 Minis and Kids

We value kids at Central Coast Community Church and aim to reveal Jesus to them in a creative and relevant way.

C4 Minis is designed for preschool-aged kids. They sing, move and create as they learn about the stories in the Bible. Jesus is taught to these young hearts so that they know how much He loves them.

C4 Kids caters for lower primary school-aged kids. Each week the kids learn more about the Bible and the goodness of God through stories, crafts, and games. We value kids! This ministry is staffed by committed volunteers who have undertaken the Working With Children Check.
