School Breakfasts

School breakfast

On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the school term, volunteers from C4 Church serve breakfast to any child who wants something to eat at Wadalba Community High School. The kids are given different food choices on different days. On Mondays, there are muffins or yogurt cups. On Wednesdays, there are hash browns or spaghetti. On Fridays, there are either pancakes or eggs with toast. Every day, there is toast, spreads and fruit.

Volunteers set up and pack up each morning, and cook and serve the food. We have a few student helpers from time to time, and teachers also help cook and serve sometimes as well as monitor the kids.

Community Dinners

Community Dinner

Community Dinner happens every Saturday night at 6 p.m. It is a new initiative of C4 Church in 2024 to help ease the burden on families and individuals who are doing it tough.

Dinner is served from a food van, and tables are set up in the carpark. Guests are welcome to sit and eat or to take their food and go. Coffee, tea and Milo are available to drink. There is a kids’ play table, and the atmosphere is lovely with little fairy lights in the trees and on the tables.

The food is great! We have several different chefs who cook for us, and we serve a variety of foods. There is always a meat and a vegetarian option. After everyone has been served, takeaways are available.

We often have fresh food and bread from Second Bite to give away as well.

Breathe

Coffee

Breathe is a coffee morning open to all members and the wider community. It runs from 9 to 11.30 a.m. on Wednesdays. You can enjoy a free barista-made coffee or tea, chat, study the Bible, spend time in the Community Garden, or just sit back and relax. Sometimes you just need to breathe…

Garden of Eating

Garden of eating

Garden of Eating is a ministry that provides a free vegetarian meal after our program on the first Saturday of the month. It is staffed by 25+ volunteers. Everyone is welcome and invited to stay!

At Central Coast Community Church, we love having lunch together. It is a great chance to catch up and also get to know each other better. Sharing a meal and conversation allows us to support and encourage each other more.

Our Garden of Eating menu varies but often includes soups with bread rolls, a rice or pasta dish with sauce, salad rolls, haystacks, or hot dogs with salad and patties. Dairy and gluten-free options are usually available.

Small Groups

small groups

Small Groups at Central Coast Community Church support and nurture people as they grow their relationship with Jesus. We believe that people are designed to connect and interact with others for their general well-being. Joining a Small Group from C4 is a safe, non-threatening way to meet people and learn more about Jesus. Discover with others what he did for us.

Meetings are not formal. There is sharing, Bible study, and discussion time. Each member is encouraged to participate in their own way, while non-judgmentally supporting every other member of the group. Groups currently run on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, both in person and online via Zoom. If you have questions or would like more information about joining a Small Group, please contact John Sanburg.

The Inverse class for 30+ adults that look at different topics relevant to Christian life.
The Discovery class is a small group for new Christians or those who want to learn the basics of the Bible.
Going Deeper is a class that delves deeper into Daniel, Revelation, and related topics.
Young Adults, for those aged (roughly) 19–29. They enjoy discussing the Bible and life in general.

Young Adults

Young adults

We have an Interactive Bible Study group for those aged roughly between 19 and 29. In their group, they discuss the Bible as well as life in general.

As a group, they sometimes arrange social activities. This is a great chance to get together outside of Church and enjoy food, fun and friendship. The young adults’ small group is an opportunity to build relationships and go deeper with God.
